From October 23–26, 2025, the world’s largest board game fair — SPIEL Essen — once again became the heart of the tabletop gaming world. With 220,000 visitors and 890 exhibitors from over 50 countries, the event filled an impressive 77,500 m² of exhibition space, buzzing with creativity, community, and play.
For TOSSIT, attending SPIEL wasn’t just about presenting a product. It was about celebrating connection — being part of a vibrant global community that believes in the power of play.
Why Meeting in Person Matters
At a time when so much interaction happens through screens, in-person experiences like SPIEL Essen remind us of what true connection feels like.
- Discovering TOSSIT live: We met families, friends, and first-time players—people who could feel the game, not just see it online.
- Connecting with creators: Fellow exhibitors and game designers shared ideas, stories, and passion for analog entertainment.
- Sharing real moments: Laughter, competition, and high-fives — these are the moments that make play meaningful.
- Breaking barriers: Language, culture, and age disappeared as people united through a simple throw and a shared cheer.
Play connects people — that’s the essence of what TOSSIT stands for.
Behind the Scenes: Our Team at Essen
Our full TOSSIT crew spent an exciting week on-site — designing our booth, testing new ideas, and meeting hundreds of enthusiastic players. For us, the booth became much more than a stand; it was a meeting point. A place to listen, co-create, and feel the pulse of the industry.
At TOSSIT, we believe in screen-free fun, authentic connection, and the joy of analog play. Events like SPIEL Essen reaffirm why we do what we do — because real play changes everything.
Looking Ahead
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, played a round, or simply said hello. Every interaction fuels our mission to bring more people together through play.
