Full-Time Project Manager (Kickstarter Launch)

Contract: 4-month mission → convertible to full-time if the launch crushes it
Location: EU time zones preferred (remote)
Start: ASAP

The vibe

We’re launching a new product/game/brand that lives in a bold, chaotic, wildly fun universe. It’s a little WTF (in the best way), loud on purpose, built to turn heads and spark reactions online and IRL. If you’re extraverted, shamelessly creative, and happiest when the plan is “break the internet,” you’ll fit right in.

Your mission (own it end-to-end)

  • Kickstarter mastermind: Own the full campaign, timeline, budget, page, video, rewards, stretch goals, pre-launch list, PR, creator seeding, and day-by-day war-room execution.
  • Influencers & ambassadors: Source, pitch, close, brief, and manage creators (TikTok, YouTube, Insta, Twitch). Turn one-offs into ongoing advocates.
  • Social & community: Run the content engine (calendar, hooks, short-form, livestreams), reply fast, fan the flames, and convert hype into sign-ups and backers.
  • Paid visibility: Plan and buy targeted ads (Meta/TikTok/YouTube), test creative angles, scale winners, kill losers.
  • Partnerships & PR: Hunt collabs, stunts, and earned media. Land articles, podcasts, and street-level activations.
  • Ops & reporting: Keep the trains on time, daily standups, dashboards, budget tracking, fulfillment partners alignment, risk logs, and post-mortems.

What success looks like

  • Pre-launch: 25–50k qualified leads, CAC that makes sense, creators queued with signed briefs.
  • Launch week: Funded in 24–48h, aggressive ROAS on winning creatives, steady press/UGC velocity.
  • Campaign end: Strong LTV from add-ons, smart stretch-goal pacing, clean handoff to production/fulfillment.

30 / 60 / 90-day plan

  • Day 1–30: Research & strategy, creator pipeline, landing + email flows, Kickstarter page v1, teaser content, ad tests.
  • Day 31–60: Final video & rewards, heavy pre-launch capture, paid/UGC scale-up, PR drops, ambassador activations.
  • Day 61–90: Launch & daily ops, metric-driven iterations, stretch-goal choreography, community retention.
  • Day 91–120: Final push, post-campaign store, manufacturing handoff, learnings, and scale roadmap.

You are

  • A loud thinker & doer: extraverted, camera-friendly, thrives in street activations and creator collabs.
  • Strategic + scrappy: can design a plan at 9:00 and ship three tests by 17:00.
  • Outcome-obsessed: you chase conversions, not vanity.
  • Calm in chaos: live dashboards, crisis plans, and backup hooks are your love language.
  • Tool-fluent: Kickstarter/BackerKit, Notion, Sheets, Figma/Canva, Meta/TikTok Ads, Google Analytics, Klaviyo.
  • Languages: Fluent english required

Compensation

  • Month 1: €3,000 gross
  • Month 2–4 (if confirmed): €3,500 gross / month
  • Commission: 1% of the Kickstarter funds raised (we plan to raise €3–4M).
  • We’re demanding. You must prove you deserve to stay. We want results, you own the ways and put in the effort.

Contract & conversion

  • Full-time commitment for 4 months. If you deliver, we convert you to a permanent role to keep scaling the brand.

How to apply

Email hr(at)tossit.game with:

  1. Your resume + linkedin link
  2. Links to your best launches or creator campaigns (what you did + outcomes).
  3. A 2–4 minute video: who you are, your proudest growth win, and one crazy stunt you’d run for this launch.

  • Inventory tracking and forecasting
  • Transport carrier integrations
  • Container/air/rail tracking pipelines
  • ERP modules that help our operations team move fast and stay in control

To support this, we’re looking for a Rust Backend Developer (Freelancer) who can architect clean, modular, high-performance backend services — with MongoDB as our database layer and Kafka as our async event backbone.

If you love building real systems that get used daily, iterating fast, and owning your work end-to-end, this is the place.

What You Will Build

You’ll collaborate directly with our tech lead and logistics team to develop:

Core Backend Services

  • Warehouse Management System backend (locations, stock movements, receiving, picking, rework flows)
  • ERP-style backend for purchasing, containers, inbound/outbound orders
  • Master Data Service (SKUs, packaging, dimensions, BOMs)
  • APIs for scanners, tablets, and internal web tools

Integrations

  • DHL, UPS, DPD, Dachser, DB Schenker
  • Label generation services
  • Shipment tracking APIs (sea, air, rail)
  • Internal event logs and automation

Event-Driven Systems

  • Kafka topics for:
    - stock movements
    - tracking updates
    - container events
    - error notifications
    - rework jobs
  • Background workers for async tasks
  • Audit trails and internal operational logs

These systems will directly power our day-to-day logistics across Europe, North America, and Asia.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and implement backend services in Rust
  • Build REST APIs consumed by Angular frontends and warehouse tools
  • Model data structures and write queries using MongoDB
  • Implement Kafka producers & consumers for async workloads
  • Build internal modules for receiving, picking, shipment routing, and stock management
  • Integrate APIs from carriers (DHL/DPD/UPS etc.)
  • Write tests, docs, and clean, scalable code
  • Work fast, ship iteratively, communicate clearly

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong Rust backend development experience
  • Solid understanding of async Rust (Tokio or equivalent)
  • Experience with MongoDB (indexes, schema design, aggregations, performance)
  • Kafka experience (implementing producers & consumers)
  • Good understanding of REST API architecture
  • Experience integrating with external APIs
  • Ability to architect clean backend modules from scratch
  • English fluency
  • Strong freelance mindset (ownership + autonomy)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with logistics software (WMS/ERP/e-commerce tools)
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture best practices
  • Familiarity with barcode scanners or printing APIs
  • Experience with Docker environments
  • Simple DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, deployments)

💰 Compensation & Benefits

Monthly net compensation: 13,700 PLN
(10,000 PLN invoiced + 5,500 PLN bonus)
Additional benefits:

  • Paid holidays: 25 days in year 1, 30 days from year 2
  • Remote-first, work from anywhere you want
  • Annual team-building trip (fully covered)
  • Annual raise based on performance and impact

Who We Are

ART & POLLO OÜ (Estonia) is the company behind TOSSIT, a fast-growing European consumer brand with operations in 40+ countries.
