This past Saturday, May 6th, marked an exciting chapter in the story of TOSSIT, an inventive game blending the best of pétanque, darts, and Molkky, as it made its debut at Furet du Nord in Lille. The event, which was as vibrant and lively as the TOSSIT game itself, was an incredible show case of fun, challenge, and community.
For those unfamiliar, TOSSIT is primarily a dart game rooted in the same rules as pétanque. It is accessible to all, offering countless hours of entertainment and friendly competition.
The TOSSIT team, identifiable in their distinctive yellow outfits adorned with black smileys, made their grand entrance at Furet du Nord. They assembled in the backstage area of the store, readying themselves for an eventful day.
During the event, visitors were invited to challenge the TOSSIT team in a 7-point game, testing their skills against the creators themselves. Alongside these challenges, tournaments were set up for attendees, with the winner walking away with a TOSSIT set and several Furet du Nord vouchers worth 15 or 30 euros.
Two prominent stands were established within the store: one on the first floor, where the thrilling tournaments and challenges took place, and another on the fourth floor, dedicated to demonstrations and game displays. The first floor stand was conveniently located in the games and toys section of the store, making it easy for game enthusiasts to engage with TOSSIT.
Banners were also put up throughout the store, drawing interest and inviting customers to participate in the TOSSIT festivities. The day was filled with fun, suspense, and laughter as attendees engaged in intense TOSSIT games.
The best part? Everyone left as a winner, as all participants were given complimentary goodies to remember the day by. The event wrapped up at 18:00, coinciding with the store's closing time.
